The K. & A. Kyriazis Foundation Awards are presented annually to distinguished individuals from Greece and abroad for their significant contributions to letters, education, and culture.

Chrysanthi Kakoulidou
TRANSLATION AWARD FOR ANCIENT, BYZANTINE, LATIN, AND MEDIEVAL LITERATURE
Η μεταφράστρια Χρυσάνθη Κακουλίδου βραβεύεται  για τη μετάφρασή της σε έργα Ρώσων μεγάλων ποιητών.


George Exarhos
Translation Award for Ancient, Byzantine, Latin, and Medieval Literature."
The distinguished researcher and author is awarded for his excellent new translation of Aristophanes' 'Clouds'.

Marc Studer
HONORABLE MENTION
Marc Studer, President of Maison Dufour, is awarded for his promotion of the work of Kapodistrias and the Swiss Philhellenes Dufour and Eynard. Marc Studer, Πρόεδρος του Maison Dufour, βραβεύεται για την προβολή του έργου του Καποδίστρια και των Φιλελλήνων Ελβετών Dufour και Eynard.

Priya Trivedi
CULTURAL EXCELLENCE AWARD
Professor Priya Trivedi, from India, President of the Confederation of 1,200 Indian Universities, is awarded for his extensive scientific work and his distinguished contribution to social causes, as well as his efforts toward international peace and the understanding of peoples through education and culture. His selection was also made with the aim of strengthening the relations between Greece, Cyprus, and India, especially in the field of higher education, as India is the most populous country on the planet, with cultural elements in common with Greece, and an emerging economic power, holding the fifth position globally in terms of GDP Priya Trivedi, από την Ινδία, Πρόεδρος της Συνομοσπονδίας 1.200 Ινδικών Πανεπιστημίων, βραβεύεται γιατί, παράλληλα  με το πολυσχιδές επιστημονικό του έργο, έχει διακριθεί για τη συνολική κοινωνική του προσφορά και τη συμβολή του στη διεθνή ειρήνη και κατανόηση των λαών μέσω της παιδείας και του πολιτισμού. Η επιλογή του έγινε, επίσης, με απώτερο στόχο τη σύσφυξη των σχέσεων της Ελλάδας, αλλά και της Κύπρου, με την Ινδία, ειδικά στον τομέα της ανώτατης εκπαίδευσης, δεδομένου ότι η Ινδία είναι η πολυπληθέστερη χώρα στον πλανήτη με πολιτιστικά στοιχεία κοινά με την Ελλάδα, καθώς και ανερχόμενη οικονομική δύναμη, κατέχοντας την πέμπτη θέση ως προς το ΑΕΠ παγκοσμίως.

Ioannis Tsaftarides
CULTURAL EXCELLENCE AWARD
His Eminense,Archbishop Ioannis Tsaftaridis of Zambia and Mozambiqueis awarded for his outstanding social work and promotion of the Greek language and culture in these countries. His Eminence is leading the effort to return the historic and magnificent building Athinaion in Maputo to the Greek community of Mozambique, and he is tirelessly working to construct a new cultural complex in the same city. In Zambia, he is spearheading the construction of a Missionary Village in the so-called Vlachaki community, a group of about 3,000 people descended from the Cretan Dimitris Vlachakis, who arrived in the country in the late 19th century. Among other things, the village includes an important educational complex consisting of a school, vocational school, sports center, and cultural multipurpose hall.
