
Artemis Kyriazis, the wife of Konstantinos, was the daughter of Nikolaos Lianopoulos.
Nikolaos Lianopoulos, was for many years director general of the Ministry of the Interior, President of ASDY (Supreme Council of Public service) and five times Minister of the Interior, hero of the first Balkan war, and seriously wounded. Among others he was awarded with the Great Cross of the Order of Phoenix and Military Cross,
Her mother was Vassiliki Georgitsi, known for her social work and co-founder of Saint John of Ioannina (her city of birth), foundation for children of poor families,

She studied law and took a piano degree with honours.
She started working as a journalist at Ethnos newspaper.
Together with Konstantinos Kyriazis they fought against the 1967 Greek jounta.
She was a journalist and foreign correspondent of the German “Neue Gesellschaft”.
She took many interviews with international personalities, among others Germany’s chancellor Willy Brand (5 interviews) then president of the EU Commission Roy Jenkins, governor of Massachussets and presidential candidate Michael Doukakis etc.
She was the publisher of the weekly Bulletin “Europe”.
She was elected to the city council of Athens and was the first woman president of the city council.
She passed away in 2017.
