The Konstantinos and Artemis Kyriatzis Foundation announces a competition for the awarding of the “Kostas Kyriazis” Historical Novel Award, with a prize of three thousand (3,000) euros. The deadline for submitting nominations is from December 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. Authors who have published historical novels in 2022, 2023, and 2024 are eligible to submit nominations. The results will be announced by April 30, 2025, on the Foundation’s website kyriazisfoundation.org.

A historical novel is considered to be a novel that refers to the Greek historical period from the Mycenaean era to the first half of the 20th century.

The judging committee consists of Mr. Gerasimos Zoras, Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Athens, President of the National Society of Greek Literature, Author; Mr. Dionysis Mousmoutis, Publisher of the Journal “History,” Author; and Mr. Nikolaos Kyriatzis, Emeritus Professor of Economics at the University of Thessaly, Author, President of the Konstantinos and Artemis Kyriazis Foundation.

The books for evaluation should be sent by registered mail or courier to the Foundation’s headquarters, Ithakis 17, Kifisia, P.C. 14563.
